Christian Brothers Band? Well, the lead singer was Fletcher Christian... Bass player was Hans "Christian" Anderson. Drummer was Christian Nybe (Director of THE THING)
Hi, Not sure if you still read or post to your blog, but I am Quantrilla's daughter. Interestingly enough, she named mr Quantrilla also. I was looking for information on her and came across your blog. I would love to hear about the days she sang with you. Maybe you can help me discover some part of her I never knew. She passed away 8 years ago this July. My email is qyard08@aol.com. Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. Quantrilla had an incredible voice - and was such a sweet person. She sang with the Christian Brother's Band back in the early to mid-70's. She also sang some back up on a CD I produced back in '92 (STAND). I will hook you up with my sister Jennie Rakestraw who sang with your mom. Again, I am so sorry to hear of your loss - but we both know Jesus made a place for her - and I'm sure she's still singing praises to our Lord. Thank you for making contact.
