Sunday, April 12, 1948

I ran across this image of mom. This was taken outside of their home at Campbell Court in East Gadsden. In her handwriting on the back of the photo it reads, "Esther Davidson Finlayson, Easter morning 1948, Showing off a dress I had made the night before."  Her parents were Fred and Irene Davidson.

When did she have the time to make a dres? Well, maybe she just had three kids at the time! It always amazes me what that woman can do!!

Oh, I didn't even notice the date. She wasn't even married at that time. Sorry!

Yes, she had lots of time to make dresses back before her birth of a nation period.

It's a different day and time now. Imagine making your own clothes?!? Much easier running over to Wally-World for some new duds. A more convenience world today with a little less charm.

A beautiful dress......
