raw deal

Politicians like to blame big business, big oil, and wall street for all our present woes. For some mysterious reason - they rarely point to themselves. Big government is the real thorn in our sides. Trying to make a business works takes a lot of time, energy and money. We do all the milking - government gets the cream. Here we are trying to eke out a living - while being taxed, taxed, and taxed in the process. Like Reagan said, "In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem." The best thing government can do is get the hell out of our way."

The way things stand today, government is in direct opposition to small business. The job of government today is to confiscate as much of our capital as possible. Our current financial crisis leads directly to Washington - specifically to the doorstep of the Democrats. Just look what their social engineering / market manipulations have brought us - problems! Just give them enough rope and they will hang us all.

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
-Ronald Reagan

Sorry Hussein - sorry Joe - but being gang raped by the U.S. Government every quarter isn't my idea of being patriotic. I simply can't wait for the next tea party.
