Avast has let through more virus' than i can count especially the free version, Norton is junk and you can't remove it fully once installed. Defender pros customer service is great and they will do whatever it takes to help or satisfy, try that with avast or norton fools.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246301260943127814.post-70235600516057263272013-03-24T20:07:23.150-05:002013-03-24T20:07:23.150-05:00Upset...yes I remember the feeling...the frustrati...Upset...yes I remember the feeling...the frustration and burn of having loaded Defender Pro on my computer.

If you got it from Walmart and still have the receipt, take it back and trade up. He made the mistake of putting it on his computer without my knowing and finally after it blocked his internet access for 2 days and then he told me about it - I have been trying for 5hrs now to get it to work etc - it's total garbage!!! You should not have to work around your OS to get virus protection! Even their website help is useless... Telling people to uninstall Windows Security Essentials etc???? Really? I told my room mate to never buy a program that has bad reviews online and next time please realize that waiting a whole 24hrs before buying a product that you see on the shelf isn't going to kill him...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17113456795997782334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246301260943127814.post-9456556321464706472011-11-21T18:44:20.438-06:002011-11-21T18:44:20.438-06:00HAHA i get paid 160 per hour to remove viruses off...HAHA i get paid 160 per hour to remove viruses off macs ;) the defender pro thing is junk .. but u needed to run the norton removal tool to actually rid yourself of that horrible program .... then u might have had a chance with defender .. maybe u should do that now .. and the get avast free antivirus and stop using internet explorer .. anything else is better that IE for saftey :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246301260943127814.post-32598712272354607172011-04-08T13:52:38.445-05:002011-04-08T13:52:38.445-05:00I agree!!! As an IT person I've seen plenty of Norton "protected" computers with viruses and spyware galore. There is plenty of free software out there that works better, why spend money on products that don't do the job half as well. Check out techsupportalert.com and see the vast array of free software that you can use rather than continue to pay for software that doesn't do its job.Service Techniciannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246301260943127814.post-50343157277567345252009-03-11T12:38:00.000-05:002009-03-11T12:38:00.000-05:00My name is Lancelot and I represent Defender Pro s...My name is Lancelot and I represent Defender Pro software.
