Yep, we too had a scary place in the gym behind the big black velvet curtains. It just seemed like fun.

I enjoyed seeing all of the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood this year. Oooops! I guess I confessed that I didn't go to church on Wednesday night. I guess I'm going to hell.debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07715849339494782357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246301260943127814.post-45829412233213677342007-11-02T10:47:00.000-05:002007-11-02T10:47:00.000-05:00ditto...rant all you want.ditto...rant all you want.David Finlaysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13777087169060713857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-246301260943127814.post-74502998659155132632007-11-02T08:27:00.000-05:002007-11-02T08:27:00.000-05:00I totally agree with you on the Halloween thang!Vi...I totally agree with you on the Halloween thang!
Vicki and I kinda had to make some decisons with our kids about what was and was not acceptable about this holiday.

At that time you had all these video's out about the worship of satan during halloween.

My conclusion was (and still is) it's a bunch of kids who get to dress up and get some candy. It's a chance to be and pretend that your somebody else. That's all.

We get so wigged out at the thought of a kid using their imagination. yet we'll turn around and ask this same kid to believe in a man who could walk on water, raise people from the dead and assorted other supernatural happenings.

Weird huh?

Funny. WHen I was out trick-or-treating it never occured to me that I should stop and worship satan. That I should pay homeage to the darkness. Nope! My thought was to get down to Ruby Brothers because she made candy apples and if you didn't get there early they would be gone. Silly me.

thank for letting me vent....
mbGreene Street Lettershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17247028715761319408noreply@blogger.com
